1965 Together with his brother Coco Banegas, he forms the group “Los Banegas” 1972 He joined the group “Los Tobas” (4 albums recorded) Invited musician of: Alfredo Abalos, Eduardo Avila, Sixto Palavecino (2 albums recorded). 1990 He joined the Musical Series “Mensaje de Chacarera” together with Jacinto Piedra and Juan Saavedra (Peteco Carabajal special guest). Author, composer and performer of the Work "La Misa Santiagueña" (The Santiago's Mass). 1991 Musician and performer on the musical album “Los Santiagueños sean Unidos”. He presented the Series “Hermandad con la Tierra”, together with musicians from Santiago del Estero. Director and creator of the Musical Series “Mi Origen y mi Lugar”. Other musicians that took part of it were: Alfredo Abalos, Juan Saavedra, Las Sacha Guitarras and Carlos Pino (ex Trovadores). Author and composer of songs as: Mensaje de Chacarera, Mi Origen y mi lugar, Coplas del Silencio, Huaino de mi Infancia, El que Siembra Cosecha, Cenizas de mis Años, Allá Vamos, Juan Labrador and Para Cantar he Nacido, amongst others. He recorded his first Album titled: “Mi Origen y mi lugar” (My Origin and my Place) 1992 January: Performances at the Jesus Maria Festival and Chacarera Festival, Cosquín, amongst other shows. May: Performs some shows part of the Serie Artists Live broadcasted by National Radio of Buenos Aires, and in the TV show Argentinisima (ATC). June: Performs at the San Martin Cultural Center (Bs.As. Sala A/B), and at the T.V. show "Argentinisima", on a state broadcast (ATC). October: Presents his 2nd. album titled “Pertenezco a Este Mundo” (I Belong to this World), at the Olimpic Club - La Banda (Sgo. del Estero). 1993 January: Receives a Golden record album due to best selling of his 1st. album "Mi Origen y mi Lugar" (01/24/93) Consagrated star at the "COSQUIN Festival 1993" (01/31/93) 1994 Receives a Golden record album due to best selling of his 2nd. album "Pertenezco a Este Mundo" (I belong to this World). Releases his fourth album "Sintaxis" 1995 August: 1er. show at the Presidente Alvear Theater (Bs.As.). September: 2do. show at the Presidente Alvear Theater (Bs.As.). 1996 January: Performes at the Jesus Maria Festival and Cosquín (Córdoba - Argentina). May: Tours Europe, where performs at Belgium and Spain. 1997 January: Performs at the Jesus Maria Festival and Cosquín (Córdoba - Argentina]. He was acclaimed by the audience, and therefore obliged to make encores out of program. February: Presentation at the Salamanca's Festival [Santiago del Estero] March: Performance at Bolivia. April: Performs as main artist in charge of closing the Chacarera Festival, which took place in the Centenary Park of Buenos Aires, together with many other artists, such as Alfredo Abalos, La Chacarerata Santiagueña, Suna Rocha, Hugo Torres and many more.
